Congratulations!

Tyrone Frasier is a native of Georgetown, SC. He received his Pre-K through grade education in Georgetown County schools, and has served Georgetown County School District as a teacher for over 12 years. After completing his post-secondary education, Mr. Frasier knew that he wanted to return home to give back to the community that gave him his start. And he has done just that! Mr. Frasier teaches science for half a day to students in the Howard Optional Program. He spends the other half of the day as a teacher in the Howard Adult Center high school diploma program.

Mr. Frasier’s commitment to helping students achieve, regardless of the students’ previous struggles, is non-waivering. Students who have not been successful in other programs finally experience educational achievement. Mr. Frasier is able to set expectations, deliver instruction, and offer encouragement and motivation in a manner that is beneficial to both the optional education student and the adult learner. Thank you Mr. Frasier for your compassion, diligence, and incredible organizational skills. We are honored to recognize you as Howard Adult Center’s Teacher of the Year.
